M-Kopa Phones Overview – M-kopa Phones Deposit

M-kopa is a company that offers financial solutions to its clients, offering products to its clients on a loan basis. The client will pay a deposit upfront, go home with the product, and pay a daily instalment of the remaining balance for 365 days(1 Year). According to the description I provided, you can tell why they gave it the name M-Kopa, M standing for Mobile, and Kopa, a Swahili name, standing for borrow. Some products they provide include M-Kopa Phones, Solar Panels, M-Kopa motorbikes and M-Kopa Televisions.

Customers can pay these monthly instalments via Mobile money services like Safaricom Mpesa, Airtel Money and T-Kash. Failure to pay the daily instalment for that day will mean there will be disconnection of the product, e.g. If you have an M-kopa smartphone and fail to pay the daily instalment, the phone will be locked for that day until you pay the required amount.

M-Kopa Phones and Their Prices

Currently, M-Kopa only has two smartphone brands, Nokia smartphones and Samsung smartphones. They promise to include other types of phones in the future, but I doubt if this is going to change very soon. But despite this, I think that these are good M-Kopa phone brands and are well known for their durability and performance.
