The introduction of voice messages has been a game-changer in the telecommunications industry. These voice messages are life-changing and really save time, especially for those of us, like me, who are so lazy that sending a message looks like a big task.

Voice messages can be useful in situations where you want to send out a large text to someone else explaining something.

Voice Messages Are More Engaging.

They make the conversation more engaging with the recipient because they can hear your voice instead of just seeing text

The other person can connect with you more because it is easier to express your emotions than you would have through text.

You can save it for future purposes.

You can be able to save the voice message and listen to it another time if, for example, you are busy at work. You can therefore save voice messages as memories.

How To Send a Voice Note Using Iphone’s Normal Messaging App.

Yes, you can send a voice message using the normal Messages app on an iPhone. The process is similar to sending a text message, but with the added option to record and send a voice message.

First Step: Open The iPhone Messages App

The first step in sending a voice message through the Messages app is to open the iPhone message app. This app comes pre-installed on all iPhones and is found on your home screen or by searching for it using the Spotlight search feature. You can also access it by opening the app menu section and scrolling through the installed app until you find it.

Second Step: Start a new message or open an existing conversation

Once the Messages app is open, you can start a new message by tapping the “New Message” button.

This button is located in the top right corner of the screen, or you can open an existing conversation by tapping on the conversation. Remember to add the recipient’s contacts when creating a new chat.

Third Step: Tap and Hold the Record Button

Once you have opened the conversation you want to send a voice message to, you can start recording your message. Do this by tapping and holding down the microphone icon located to the right of the text input field. The recording will begin and you can record your message.

Step 4: Release the microphone icon to end the recording

When you are done recording your voice message, release the microphone icon. The recording will automatically be sent to the recipient of the message. If you want to listen to the recording before sending it, you can tap on the play icon that appears after the recording.

If you don’t see a microphone icon, you can use the keyboard. Swipe right on your keyboard, to reveal the hidden microphone icon and follow the above steps to record and send your voice message.

That’s it! Your voice message will now be sent to the recipient of the message. They will be able to listen to it by tapping on the play icon in the message thread. Keep in mind that, depending on the recipient’s device, they may have to have the latest version of iOS or iMessage to be able to listen to your voice message.

Sending A Voice Message Using iPhone’s Voice Memo App

Using the built-in Voice Memos app on your iPhone is also another great way to send a voice message. In this section, I will guide you through the process of sending a voice message on an iPhone using the built-in voice Memo app.

Step 1: Open the Voice Memos app

The first step in sending a voice message on an iPhone is to open the Voice Memos app. This app is pre-installed on all iPhones. You should be able to find it easily on your home screen or by searching for it using the Spotlight search feature.

Step 2: Record your message

Once the Voice Memos app is open, you can begin recording your message by tapping the red “Record” button at the bottom of the screen. Once you’re satisfied with your recorded message, you can share it with others by tapping the “Share” button. This share button is located in the upper left-hand corner of the Voice Memos app. From here, you can choose to share your message via text message, email, or social media, or you can save it to your iPhone’s camera roll.

If you choose to share your message via text message or email, you can select recipients from your contacts list. If you choose to share your message via social media, you will be prompted to sign in to your account and select the platform on which you want to share your message.

Step 5: Send your message

Once you have selected the method by which you want to share your message and have added any additional text or information, you can send your message by tapping the “Send” or “Post” button. Your message will now be sent to the selected recipients or posted on your chosen social media platform.
