In today’s article, I will be reviewing the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 smartphone and its price in Kenya. With the recent release of the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 series in Kenya by the company, people have been asking me about these smartphones and their prices, and whether or not they are worth buying or not. So, in this article, I will give you a review of the first smartphone on this list, which is the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12.

External Features of the Redmi Note 12 Smartphone
The Redmi Note 12 from Xiaomi comes in three different colours you can choose from. These are; Midnight Dark, Mirror Porcelain White, Shallow Dream Star and Time Blue colourways depending on where you have purchased it from. The smartphone’s build material is plastic which is durable, but not the best.
On the back, you will see a triple-lens camera and a flash, which I will talk about later in that section. On the front, you will see a 6.67-inch AMOLED display screen. On the right side, there is a power button and the Volume up and down button. There is also a selfie camera on the front side of the screen for your selfie-taking moments.
You will not find a fingerprint sensor on the back of the smartphones. The fingerprint sensor is located on the power button. On the Top part, you will find the 3.5mm headphone jack hole for your earphones or other devices.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 Display
The Note 12 has a 6.67-inch display that is an AMOLED display. It has a refresh rate 120Hz. The screen-body ratio of the Redmi Note 12 is 85% meaning you can enjoy watching movies and even gaming. the resolution for this Xiaomi smartphone is 1080 by 2400 pixels.
Redmi Note 12 Camera
With Redmi Note 12 Camera gives you the ability to capture every angle with a triple camera that features a high-resolution main lens which is 50Mp, an 8Mp Ultra-wide camera and a macro camera that packs 2MP. know that this isn’t the best camera smartphone, but you can agree that it’s good enough.
The main camera supports 1080@360fps, and overall the back cameras support her and paranoma. To top it all up, it has a dual-tone flash led light to help you take photos in the dark.
For all you selfie lovers, the Redmi Note 12 comes with a 13 Mp camera for you to record and save all your memories.

Processor and system build
Get boosted performance with the 6nm Snapdragon 685 from Qualcomm. This is a flagship processor and is good for gaming, and use of multiple apps, but won’t be as smooth as other high-end smartphones. The CPU is an Octa-core (2*2.0gGHz Cortex – A78 plus 6 *1.8GHz Cortex – A55 ).
This smartphone runs on Android 12 MIUI and has an Adreno 619 GPU.
Memory and Storage
In terms of Memory, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 has 4GB of RAM and a storage capacity of 128GB, which is enough for use without lagging. There are also options that you could get from outside Kenya that have the following storage capabilities; 128GB 6GB RAM, and the 256GB 8GB RAM versions of the phone.
The internal storage is also enough to hold your files, but you also have the option of expanding the storage using an SD card(Expandable up to 1Tb). This SD card slot uses a shared SIM slot, meaning it is stored alongside your nano sim cards.
So you can be sure that you will use this phone on medium use without any lag, and you will be able to play games such as Pubg well.
The smartphone is powered up with a 5,000 mAh battery which can take you days on medium use. For a person who is a gamer, this smartphone will last you several hours before needing another charge. For medium-use people, you will receive power for days from your Xiaomi Note 12 device before you charge it again.
If you need to charge it again, Xiaomi have you covered, the device comes with a 33W fast charger to boost your smartphone. Xiaomi advertised that the 33w charger could boost the smartphone to 50% charge in 22 minutes.
